Geralyn Dawson pens poignant historical romances brightened by laughter, glistening with tears, and offering "pure reading enjoyment" (Laurel Gainer, "Affaire de Coeur)." Now, she takes readers to a little town deep in the heart of Texas, where mysterious stars light the way for a long-separated couple to find love... A STARLIT LADY

Tess had run away from a broken heart and

This is the first book I have read by this author. She's a great writer and storyteller, and I certainly plan to read more of her books. She's great at description, and can certainly set a mood and a scene. There was a lot to like about this book, and I would give it 3.5 stars if I could. I certainly liked the hero - he was very engaging. For the most part it was an interesting story, a believable romance, and I enjoyed the quirky secondary characters. The Kissing Stars wasn't as entertaining as some of Geralyn Dawson's earlier work (The Bad Luck Wedding Dress is a personal favorite of mine), and the humor wears a little thin (most of it seems to center on a pig who thinks she's human). However, it was still an enjoyable read.

The story was fun but I am just not a fan of sex scenes. The last few chapters were very engaging and made the story. I can't say it was a bad book just not my style and so I won't recommend it do to language and sex.
What a great story! This is the first book I read by Geralyn Dawson, but it will definitely not be the last! Now I have to add Texas to my bucket list...
This wasn't as enjoyable as others I have read from the author.
I do recommend the the bad luck wedding dress series from this author...
Another cheap e-book at $3.99. Easy to read and light entertainment. More Texas geography than history.

Didn't like this one at all, but I read it a long time ago. Will reskim and leave a better review later.
This book had lots of typos, but it was an ok book overall.
