I read this a long time ago and enjoyed it very much, though it's an odd story. Amelia Earhart is snatched out of time as a child to be used by an evil scientist for his own experiments. I wish this was still in print! It's quite a switch from Sobol's "Encyclopedia Brown" stories.

I read this book as a child. Loved it from what I can remember.

This is the weirdest sci-fi book ever. Arm wrestling, boat racing, an Abraham Lincoln clone, houses falling from the sky, photo copies of entire galaxies... the weirdness never stops.
