Brilliant concept. Love your body as it is now. The book was very intriguing to read, thought-provoking. Also, different exercises from the usual ones we've come to expect. All very powerful. I do the Woman Warrior I series, and the stretches from the "I Am" chapter. I just do a few a day, or one rep each of a few a day, and it still works! But I'm not so much doing the alternate routine of treadmill, running and jumping ones! I couldn't last the first day through one set. But about once a month...more
This is the first fitness/health/exercise book that I read about empowering the person who is seeking to lose weight or be healthier by toning and shaping their bodies (or strengthening). For me, I've read so many exercise, health, diet, and eating books to see results. Yet, in her introduction, she focuses on "greatness is in you" and encourages movement on this personal journey without any restrictions or measures BMI or other figures that most books do to lose weight!
