Lots of useful organizational strategies, but lots of manual forms with information copied from one to another creating more opportunities for errors. But until I find a more efficient less manual process I will take what I can from her experience.

p71 Squeezing every bit of information

I purchased this book some years back when there was far less genealogy information easily available online, but keep returning to it for research reminders and guides for requesting those records still only stored in registers and shelves.

The author shares many useful organisational tips however I found the book to be very American based. As I'm from Australia there was a lot of information that wasn't relevant for me. I was able to take some nifty pieces of advice on board for my own family history research though.

Recommends it for: Those researching family.
To break up my piles of data into smaller piles! To do one thing a day in my search for family information.
