Got the new! IMAC and got into making slideshows. Agonized a bit over which
self-help group to go with and chose the Pogue. It's pretty good. Something
of the sort is necessary as computer makers leave it to the independant
writers to tell you the ins and outs of their systems.

OK book. Learned a few things.

Finally understand what Events and Photos are. Events are the main organization scheme. Photos is a lightbox-style viewer of all photos.

Albums let you pick and chose from photos. Folders can organize Albums.

I have never spent so much time reading techie books!

The whole Missing Manual series is definitely worth looking into. If I didn't have a thing against buying books, I would buy this one. It's so much easier to understand and navigate than online tutorials.

If you are new to iPhoto, this is a great way to begin to understand how it works!.

Excellent resource for an excellent program. A comprehensive look at iPhoto 5, filled with tips and tricks. This series consistently turns out great guides. Essential reading.
