I’ve come to the conclusion that Nao is just a useless person. If there was ever a person that was least suitable for the Liar Games, it would be her. It honestly has gotten a bit pathetic how many times she falls for peoples’ lies. You would think after the fifteenth time Nao was tricked that she’d finally wise up to the type of people she was dealing with, but apparently not. I didn’t quite understand her need to ‘save’ Akiyama. He pretty explicitly said that he wanted to be in there and get t ...more

At first I was disappointed with the volume. Nao continued to be a waste of space as she trusts the two people who have already deceived her and (what a surprise) she is tricked yet again.
We begin this volume with her having the opportunity of quitting the liar game.
She doesn't.

To give her credit, her reasons for not doing so are loyal and brave, but very stupid.
The character that gives the series its flavour is not seen until halfway through the book. But when he is seen, god it all becomes be

Even though Nao had a valid point, you can't save everybody my dear. My heart can't take this much torture. I'll continue with the next volume later, much, much later. She can only win if everybody cooperates and it's not exactly ideal in a "Liar Game"
I knew Akiyama should've locked her in his room or cuff her to his side till this game is over.

dammit i was hooked
So Nao has her honest personality to save herself and others from the LG. But I still cannot stand her as a MC... she cries when she is in troubles, she cries until her white knight comes to save her.

Mr. Akiyama -Matsuda Shota-, lost brother of L.

At least she lies in this volume. But a MC that depends on others? Hmmph.
