I really really liked this and once more, I couldn't put it down. Cadeon was a great hero who had me laughing with his lines for the first half and really feeling his pain for the second. He had a really hard choice to make and I did like the way he handled it. He never strayed from the character we've come to know from the previous books, but managed to charm me and make me care for him.

Holly however, was another matter. She was the first heroine I was totally More...

A+, hilarious, smokin’ hot! Cade is one hot honey with his sexier than sexy South African accent and Holly just shines alongside him! He's rough around the edges but god does he ever know how to make her happy :D The sexual tension is there from the get go building right up to an explosion, lots of snippy dialog and banter between the characters. I loved his “pet names” for her: pet, poppet—you could just hear him saying it to bug her and did it ever get on her nerves! And the sex whooooa!!! More...

What a great, funny and sexy book.

After Mockingjay, I was feeling a little too depressed and finded myself in the desperate need of some fun reading. Luckily, I decided to grab Dark desires after dusk and had an amazing time with certain daemon. *wiggles brows*

I've been going back and forth with this series for a while, everybody seems to love it, but honestly, I didn't care too much for the first three books. I'm glad I stick with it, because things have been progressive More...

I didn't expect to like Dark Desires After Dusk this much, but somehow I ended up really enjoying it.
I like to pick up a romance book from time to time, and I prefer historical romance, but last night I was craving for something para-normally/romantically/sizzling hot that had a " virginal miss goody two shoes meets an adorable but dangerous bad boy" vibe to it.

Didn't think I'll find a book that met these criteria. But guess what?
I did!!!!

Soooo... More...

Another IAD book done… and still wanting more. Yes, I loved this one as well. Very much indeed *evil grin*. Now there can’t be a review of mine without me picking on the cover. WTF may I ask? I don’t see Cade looking like that AT ALL and another thing, where are his horns? Yes he may have cut them or something but still. I want Cade on the cover having horns. Is it too much to ask? A friend of mine, Aly, sent me a pic of how she sees him and I think it’s just perf More...

Okay after this one in the series, maybe I have the hots for a demon now. This series is getting better and better. now I have to wait for the next one! Well, Bugger!!!

Cadeon Woede is a rage demon. Holly Ashwin is a newly turned Valkryie. HMMMM How to explain???

Cade screwed up bigtime a few centuries ago and he has never lived it down. Because of his callousness his brother, Rydstrom lost his throne. See Cade is a Demon Prince and was supposed to take his brothers p More...

Kresley Cole did it again. This sixth book in the Immortal After Dark series was great!

Even though the key element of the series (where the hero and heroine come to terms with the fact that they are each other's fated partner) is the same throughout the books, Cole manages to give every book it's own twist. Each has it's very own feel to it, but all are romantic, steamy, funny and very entertaining.

In Dark Desires After Dusk Cole combined the unapologetic, sexy, sloppy, badas More...

Loved the sense of humor! I laughed at the snappy dialogue between the Holly and Cade--many times. "Whose car is it?" "Not mine." This is one I will have to re-read just for the great laughs! Wonderful characters. Nix! She's got to get her own story soon.

Exceptional writing style and talent! I'm impressed with how the author has managed to keep each book, so far, in this series so unique. What an imagination! Reading this series in order, I sense there wa More...

I didn't think I'd like Cade. I thought he came across as unfriendly in Wicked Deeds on a Winter's Night and I prefered Rydstrom. But... I was wrong. Cade turned out to be a great hero. He must make a very difficult decision: turn Holly over to the evil sorcerer and get the sword for Rydstrom OR keep Holly and let Rydstrom down AGAIN. I understood his decision and felt sorry for him. Again, Nix and her evasive advice seemed more hinderance than help, guess that's typical Nix.

NOOOOO, now I have to wait for the next one!!
I don't know how Kresley Cole's 'Immortals After Dark' series keeps getting better, but it does. Each book in this series has ramped up the plotline and put us further on the road towards the Accession. We've learned about Valkyries, Demons, Vamps, Lykae (weres), Ghosts, Phantoms, Wraiths, and Fae. (If I left any entities out, please don't hurt me.) Each with different strengths and weaknesses.

I thought this story was very enjoya More...

This is book 6 in the series and is the story of Cadeon Woede finding his mate. Books #5 and 6 from this series came out within a month of each other, so I read them back to back. As Cole often does, the stories overlap, which makes them even more interesting to read. Book #7 is due out in the fall, and my money is on a further overlap - Rydstrom Woede's story, which is hinted at in book 6. This story is set in modern-day America and is funny, sexy, and extremely entertaining. I highly recomm More...

WHEN A BAD BOY MEETS A VERY GOOD GIRL!!!

I enjoyed this latest instalment to the Immortals after Dark series, we got a little something new. Demons aren’t new to the series but it’s the first book where it revolves entirely around them. Once again Miss Cole delivers fun and quirky characters, intense and action packed situations.

Cadeon is a Rage Demon which basically means when he gets pissed you will know it, his horns will straighten and he will look like Satan himself o More...

I consider Cadeon Woede, the hero of the fifth installment of Kresley Cole's widely popular Immortals After Dark paranormal romance series, to be the less intense of the males in the series thus far- although he's experienced some big-time regrets in his past.

After losing his father and eldest brother to war, Rydstrom Woede, Cade's next oldest brother who is now first in line for the throne of their demon Kingdom, sends Cade away to be fostered out to ensure the succession to the thr More...

Wicked Deeds on a Winter's Night... Dark Needs at Night's Edge... Dark Desires After Dusk... is anyone else waiting for the Kresley Cole novel called "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap"?
And the cover... uck. Don't get me started on the cover.

So I was really looking forward to this book after reading the above mentioned books-with-silly-names, because I had come to really like Cade as a character based on the glimpses we got of him from those books. I think I probably went i More...

I just plowed through the entire Immortals After Dark series in 5 days. I'm not going to bother reviewing all of them, even though I enjoyed every single one of them. I just wanted to comment on this one because it was my favorite. This book was HILARIOUS. I absolutely loved the banter between Cadeon and Holly. He was soooo cocky, and she was such a smarta$$, they kept me laughing, even when things were serious. (Whose car is this? Not ours).

Okay, it's official I am addicted to this series. I've read these books in a hap-dash manner, out-of-order completely, that is, and I can attest that each book stands well on its own merit. So, have no worries on that part if you happen to stumble across one and want to read it, go for it.

Alright, 'nuff gabbing, on to the book. Cade & Holly's relationship begins when she is targeted by other Lore beings who've determined that she is the "Vessel" the woman whose been prophes More...

OMG these titles. Seriously. As bad as the covers! If I remember correctly the cheezy guy on the cover doesn't even match the description of the character of Cade. I thought Cade was blond or something. Anyways, just goes to show us chicks must be as much a bunch of suckers for looks too if they book that campy fellow on the cover and it sells more books. Anyways, love the characters. This Kresley Cole author does very well with characters that are likable. She also does well with a the More...

To be fair, this should be rated at 3.5 stars, but since that's not an option and I just can't rate it a 4, I have to give it 3 stars. I do love this series, but just did not love this book as much as the previous stories. It is somewhat disappointing considering that I knew Cade was going to be a spectacular hero based on his set up in previous books and all the great reviews for his story. That said, I did thoroughly enjoy Cade, and he lives up to his billing. His lines were great. I love More...

The one and only goal Cade and his brother have is to get Rydstrom back on his thrown and now a simmer of hope is offered. Omort The Deathless is between Rydstrom and his thrown and as his name proclaims, he cannot be killed...until now. As a sword is forged especially for the Woede's to wield that can kill Omort The Deathless, they in return have to find and deliver The Vessel. With every Accession there is a female from The Lore that would come into sexual maturity. Her child would be a warrio More...

Dark Desires After Dusk is the sixth installment in the Immortals After Dark series and after reading it I can proudly say: I found myself a new favorite series! I was kind of worried about this book because most of the authors when writing a series lose their track and the book, or in the worst case books, do not end up so well. But this did not happen. Even in the sixth book Ms. Cole did not disappoint me.
I loved Holly and her strange fobia of disorder and chaos. Not to mention her overp More...

By far my most favorite book of the series! Seriously, how can anyone resist Cade? I mean he's rude, overbearing, arrogant, crude, says whatever he wants - and he looks good doing it. Boy did I love this one! He didn't let Holly get away with anything and pretty much called her out on anything he could. He was bad and sneaky! He fit my criteria to the point that I thought he was adorable, with his Sith Ifrican accent! Adorable?! How is that even possible?

I like Holly, too. She was fu More...

This is another great story by Kresley Cole. No. 6 in Immortals After Dark Series and just as good as the rest.

Rage Demon, Cadeon Woede has been watching over human, Holly Ashwin for a year, he knows he can’t have her because she is human but something draws her to him. So he is there to rescue her when she is kidnapped by some other demons because she is the vessel this time round. Cadeon too has been looking for the vessel so he can use it to trade a sorcerer for a special sword that More...

HAHA - I love love LOVE this book! Definitely my favourite so far! :D

It reminds me a teensy bit of the first book (A Hunger Like No Other), since Cade and Holly spend a lot of the book on a road trip ... except, it's WAY better!! Way, way, WAY!! :D I'm happy that I read all of the books in order, because I was all about Cade even before I picked this one up, hehe ... so, yeah, I guess there was no way I wasn't going to like it ... as for Holly, well, she is pretty awesome herself! Dark Desires After Dusk is the fifth novel in the Immortals After Dark paranormal romance series. The story concentrates on Cadeon Woede, a character first introduced a couple of books ago when he was competing in the Talisman's Hie (No Rest For The Wicked). Cade has cropped up as a secondary character in all the books since then but now he finally has his own story. For a while now Cade has been painted as a fun loving but slightly unreliable (if not down right unlucky) demon. He was responsibl More...

And the 5-stars-books form this series keep coming!! It’s possible to be in love with fictional characters? If so, I am in love with all male characters from the Immortals After Dark series so far! “Dark Desires After Dusk” is officially one of my favorites! Fast-paced, with a lot of adventure and humor, this book was like I was watching a great movie!
