You probably can't learn the form if you've never practiced, but it's a great reference and refresher course.

Fotografische 'how-to' voor de 5 Heians en de drie Tekki's. Voor Shotokanbeoefenaars naar het schijnt dé referentie... als ze ook geen andere boeken lazen, zoals die van Habersetzer en meer bepaald 25 Shotokan Kata, in het Nederlands vertaald. Verschillen tussen de boeken zijn groot.

Terwijl Nakayamas benadering minimalistisch is en de lezer de correcte bewegingen moet afleiden uit de foto's, geeft Habersetzer ook uitleg over tussen bewegingen. Ademhaling en interessante verschillen tussen de sch

This is a great supplement to martial arts training, especially for the traditional martial artist who is honing their technical proficiency. I highly recommend this series.

If you are a student of shotokan karate, this is a must read. It has the complete sequences for each of the Heian and Tekki katas. I also had the corresponding videos.
