Hana
An historical biography of Rebbe Akiva, written in novel-form. An easy read, excellently translated from the original German, Akiva: The Story of Rabbi Akiva and His Times was originally serialized for newspaper publication. In addition to learning about the extraordinary and unique proselyte, whose affect on the practice of Judaism resonates in this generation as it did 1000 years ago, readers will gain a wealth of knowledge about world history. I highly recommend Akiva for 8th grade and up.
