the peanut gallery, GR, anon readers, whatever you wish to term them, has turned its opinion slightly against the latest development, separation from Park H in mutual consent, believing that 60 days employment on floors 17/18 of a private club catering to the billionaires of the world offered at least a 20-30% chance of striking up a friendship despite corporate protocol dictating exactly what can be said and what cannot be said to clients with a level of person who with a wave of a hand could h...more

The second volume of Naruto is just as good as the first, except in this volume the characters are expanded on and the reader gets to see more of the world Naruto and his friends inhabit. Also introduced to another range of characters that are decieving and fearsome.

Kakashi gets more interesting and Naruto continues to be determined and optimistic. There are many characters like Naruto in anime that become annoying or over-bearing due to their less than complex outlook on life and lack any real...more
Still enjoying this, it has it's funny moments and even though Naruto annoys me with his shenanigans sometimes, I kind of love him for that exact reason as well.

What I've noticed with both this and the second volume, though, is that they both have such a bad pacing. After 100 pages it already feels like they could start wrapping things up for this volume but alas, that's not what happens but we get another 100 pages that start to drag things out more than necessary.

I'll still continue the serie...more

Lovvvve this series. I love the artwork and the characters, and it amazes me how far ahead Kishimoto had the plot thought out. There are cute touches in the manga that you miss in the anime (like Kakashi having a [live:] plant named Ukki-kun in his apartment, to make up for Kishimoto's dead Ukki-kun in his drawing studio/apartment). I'm really enjoying revisiting the story from the start even though I know what is going to happen during these early parts.

The one gripe is the oddness of some of t...more

I ♡ Kakashi.

The action really picks up in Naruto, Vol. 2: The Worst Client. This volume debuts the first evil baddie, the fearsome Zabuza. This is one of my favorite battles in the series for a few reasons. It may not be the best battle, sure. However, this is the first time we get a taste of how impressive the powers are of a first-rate ninja. Getting a taste...more

Synopsis: I suspect that if you're reading this blog, you have some idea of who the fuck Naruto is, but in case you don't, here's a brief synopsis. Naruto is a 12 year old boy, who is the reincarnation of the nine-tailed fox that nearly destroyed the Leaf village, where Naruto lives. All of the adults fear him, and so they scorn him, and their children, not knowing the truth, scorn him and make fun of him. He has therefore become the equivalent of a ninja class clown. In short,...more

Ezért kapta...more

But twelve years ago Konohagakure was attacked by a fearsome threat - a nine-tailed fox demon which claimed the life of the Hokage, the village champion.

Naruto the Worst Client by Masashi Kishimoto is an easy read and inspiring book. It is Naruto's and Squad 7's first C ranked mission. Their mission is to protect Tazuna, a master bridge builder, with their lives if they have to. They set out and think it will just be an easy C ranked mission, but they find out that a dangerous S ranked criminal, one of the 7 ninja swordsmen of the hidden mist, was actually paid to kill Tazuna because if he finishes the bridge it will connect to another village a...more

good volume. naruto complain for a lame mission which turned out to be a top class one. he got afraid in the battle and got amazed by sasukes movements and made an oath not to run away. and wow naruto and sasuske's combination attack to release kakashi was good effort.

Just like the last Volume, I loved this book. Naruto has passed the test, and now the first trial, and even overcame a fight with a ninja outlaw who is way out of his league. IN this book, Naruto begins to grow up a bit, and even sacrifices himself.
In vol. 2, Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke finally become junior ninja. However, they are sick and tired of doing pathetic missions. With that, they then go on a mission higher than their level. There's a catch: a deadly ninja awaits them.

Oh my God I hated volume 1 why did I think this one would be any better I couldn't make it past chapter one Naruto is a spoiled brat and he never does anything. UGH

(I realize that his brattiness is a character flaw. But it still annoys me.)

The four go on their first mission. This is one of those arcs where while not a favorite, has its moments but is just, alright. Not bad or anything just, okay. Still, Kakashi is awesome.
The book is Naruto volume 2 and the main character is Naruto. He is a Ninja type warrior and he is pretty cool. The type of Ninja he is, is so cool but all Ninjas are cool so i can't say that he is the only cool Ninja.

I thought the book was great and I am starting to read all the Naruto books ther is like 38 or 39 books or something. But there is alot of books in this series. I'm only on book 3 because i am a slow reade and i don't like reading. I like NHinjas thats a reason i like the book, i a...more

Naruto is found hung on a pole with his hands tied behind his back, when his friends come to help him he realized it was all just a trick, his friends planned the whole thing. Naruto wants to become a full ninja but nobody lets him and he tries to prove to everybody that he can be one of them. I recommend this book to people who like action and suspense comics. I liked it when Naruto got poison inside of his blood so he grabbed his sharpest knife and cut himself so that the blood would wash away...more

I know that my students love the Naruto books so I was excited to read my first one. This title was listed as a great beginner book for Manga so I set off on the adventure. This title was certainly action packed as Naruto passed the final test to become a junior ninja and then sets off to bodyguard a man for the Land of the Waves. Naruto also talks about fitting in as a ninja and sets off to prove himself in the book. The book talks about complex topics for middle schoolers such as chakras and s...more
I thought it was a cool moment when naruto or 徳島県鳴門市 cut the blood out of his hand with a kunia knife to stop the poison from spreading. Also he made a pact saying he would never give up and become the best hokage. Also in the book naruto learns that his mysterious and easy going sensei Kasashi Hatake or カカシ has a sharingan which is a red eye that lets you copy any technique and make it your own to strike back against an enemy. Naruto and peers engage in combat against a enemy of high caliber, th...more

My opinion on this book is that I thought it was one of the best ones that I've read out of the Naruto series. The book Naruto 2 is by Masashi Kishmoto. This book goes along with the first one but the part I'm telling you a bout is the guy they have to fight cant get hit by ninja stars because he can block them.I recommend this book to you if you like action fast reads. I hope you love this book as much as I did

It physically hurts seeing Sakura like this -- Useless, annoying, and shallow. HER CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT IS SO GOOD I SWEAR.

The series is so good 'till now! I'm loving these books. I really need to read the third one know!
This is the second book in the naruto sereis. Naruto and his team are going on there first real mission. They are to escort a bridge builder to his home. Soon they have to face a powerful assasin zabuza. He is incredbly tought and even their sensei is having a hard time This is team 7 first real fight.

This reminds me of many ninja storys I have read. The ninja is figghting against A skilled rival.

I give this book a 4 out of 5. I think that there was a great battle going on. It really caught my a...more

This manga was extremely intriguing because there were only action after action. This the perfect manga there no end to the comedy and excitement. Naruto finally finds his team as well as his teacher, Kakashi. Naruto then kisses Sasuke by accident and every single female in the room were angered. There no end to this comedy, but at times it gets serious and eventually it gets hilarious again.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves anime. This manga is like a emotional roller coaster. It...more
Volume 2 continues the development of characters introduced in Volume 1 while beginning the Land of Waves story arc. The volume also showcases both Naruto's and Sasuke's fight and tactical abilities as they first encounter Zabuza. Kakashi's abilities with the Sharingan are also introduced for the first time.[return][return]The volume moves briskly along, with noticeable improvements in the art work and detailing. The dialog has also improved a bit from the previous volume as Kishimoto has contin...more
