Yeah, I guess it was pretty good. I like doing stuff with hair, like braiding it and making hair accessories, but I don't really think this is the best book for it. If you like making stuff for your body try <The girl's world's book of bath and beauty> it's a very good book for teenage girls. And if you're into klutz the book <braids and bows> are also very nice.
Picked this book up for my 9-year old daughter at the American Girl store in Chicago. It has lots of great information about caring for hair, identifying your hair type, and lots of step-by-step illustrations to complete many cute and unique hairstyles. My daughter is just getting in to doing her own hair and was very excited about this book.
This was an essential purchase for me and my 4 girls since I am really not into hair. We enjoyed reading it together and looking at some new styles we could do. Good general information.
