Too much onomatopoeia.

Hold onto your hats! In this book, the four Berenstains are going to make an attempt at braving the twists and turns of the terrifying Thunderbolt. The giant coaster's biggest hill may be a daunting prospect, and Papa may become a little bit green around the gills by the time their roller car slows to a stop at the end of the ride, but the Thunderbolt experience is sure to be a fun and memorable one.

28 months - this is a great first reading book. It's very simple but surprisingly well liked by kids. My step son loved this one and we read it repeatedly when he was learning to read. My daughter and I read it for the first time last night and she had to read it a second time, then talk about it and look at the pictures on her own and then read it again this morning.
The Berenstain Bears went to ride a rollercoaster. The rollercoaster went down a huge hill and went into the dark. The two children and mother loved the rollercoaster and wanted to ride it again but the dad became sick after riding it. The mother and two children ended up going on it again while the dad sat on the bench.

Cute story. My kindergarten students love it. We take a "rollercoaster" ride while we read the story.

Good begining reader. Julia thought it was too easy and "a little silly" but it would be a good read for Liam as he starts learning to read on his own.
