WOW!!! this book was VERY realistic about most of what happened in this couple's life, which i truly appreciated. on the other hand, i would also say that she was a bit unrealistic about how they helped each other out after having separated, especially under the circumstances of their split. BUT ...

altho i personally have NOT had this kind of a relationship w/ my ex, i've met a few people in the past 5 or so years, who have, SO ...

maybe how they came together in a crisis is NOT as far fetched as

I read this book for the Red Dress Ink Challenge. I have not been disappointed yet by an Irene Hannon novel.

Two people dealing with trauma in an already troubled marriage learn to forgive and love again. It's a sweet story in a fictional Missouri town that comes off as believable and with characters to like and maybe even relate to. It's the beginning of a series that I read one book from already and liked.

My kind of book. Author not afraid to show that real life has tough struggles that can only be over come with God's help and our willingness to forgive.

Dr. Sam Martin and his wife Cara both experience trauma and try to come to terms on their own. With each other together with God's help they do much better.
