This is an interesting book. Not sure what Johnstone was thinking. In many ways it flies in the face of his established storyline. Claire Osterman, the president of the socialistic reorganized USA, is known to have a deep, almost psychotic, hate for Ben Raines. Yet, in this book, all of that history seems to be brushed under the rug in order to allow her to ask Ben for help dealing with a terrorist threat. As books go, this was a fun one in the series. Just a little confusing.

Very good adventure series. Basically the forming of a new United States after WW3 and the story of the man who leads and forms it. If you like men's adventure stories you will enjoy it. Recommended
