oday's post is on Kare Kano: his and her circumstances volume 6 by Masami Tsuda. It is 216 pages long and is published by Tokyopop. The cover has the two main characters on it. As it is the sixth in the long running series you need to have read the first five to understand the story. There is no language, sex, and no violence in this volume. The story is told from the third person close of the two main characters. There Be Spoilers Ahead.

From the back of the book- It's not long before Soichiro's

Soichiro returns from a successful tournaments. He's grown taller and filled out a bit. When Yukino first sees him, she realizes her love for him has grown even more. Soichiro feels the same way about her and wants to move their relationship to the next level.

The beginning of the book tells of the romance between Yukino's mom and dad, but otherwise this entire book is about Yukino and Soichiro's deepening love for one another and how they might express it. Yukino's very shy and has a hard time t

I was really looking forward to reading this volume. I think it was nice to be able to see the different relationships being developed even more. Tsubasa is so cute!!

I was, unfortunately, unable to see any of the really good scenes that I know were there, because there were pages missing from the library copy I borrowed. One minute, Yukino and Arima were alone and the next they are lying in bed asleep together....hmmm. Wonder what I missed there? [sarcastic tone] Also missed out on the brother-

This volume begins with concluding the story between Yukino's parents. I loved it.

Then Soichiro comes back and they both realize their feelings for each other have developed deeper. I liked the visit Soichiro and his parents had with his parents. Well, not "like" in that it gave me pleasure, but it provided a deeper, darker look in what makes him him. Does anybody but Yukino have loving, both-still-alive/together parents...?

I have to say, I was a little unnerved with how intense he was in declar

A mixture of sickly love and trauma. That's pretty much this volume in a nutshell. I wouldn't say that there are any immediate conflicts, but rather, it's just the story moving onward. In the same way, onward towards the next volume for reading!

Yay!More is revealed about Miyazawa's parents' childhood and how they fell in love. More is shown of Arima's home life and what he faces as the black sheep of his family. Miyazawa discovers new depth to her love for Arima and hey, also they have sex. ;)

Woah, that was good. It was a bit awkward to read in class cuz my teacher kept passing me by whenever I was reading it. Yeah its TOTALLY not obvious my teacher doesn't like the fact I read manga instead of reading a regular book. Well whatever, its not like I'll stop reading manga. I was glad when he suddenly came up to her at first without telling her, it was the perfect way to get Yukino's reaction about Arima. I think Arima may have looked a bit taller but I didn't notice any huge changes. WH ...more

Apparently, the metaphor for losing one's virginity is two children playing catch with a hat in the wind. Who knew?

I had prepared a longer review of this manga, but have decided to opt for brevity.

This volume treats teenage sex in a way that is both emotionally slight and visually bizarre. Although the sex is not pornographic, it's portrayal is suggestive while juxtaposed with images of children, flowers, and sweat. It's all very symbolic, but a bit much for me. Too kiddie pornish for my tastes

I really enjoyed this book because it talks about relationships. The best part of the book is that its a lost romance.I can relate to this book because I was once in that predicument. I learned that if its ment to be it would happen. It is a great book to read.

The end of the story of how Yukino's parents met and Soichiro comes back from the tournament. The love the two have for each other is stronger then ever.

THE GRAPHIC NOVEL BOOK WAS A VERY INTERESTSTING BOOK. FOR EXAMPLE THE WAY I HAD TO READ IT WAS BACK TO FRONT AND I'M USED TO READING FRONT TO BACK. I LIKE HOW THE BOOK TALKED ABOUT LOST LOVE. THAT CAN RELATE TO ALOT OF LONG TERM RELATIONSHIPS

Con el regreso de Arima este tomo vuelve a ser notablemente romántico y se centra casi principalmente en la relación entre él y Yukino dejando de lado al resto de personajes excepto por la conclusión de la historia de los padres de Yukino.

A love story that revolves around highschool students but remains interesting to span 20+ volumes. The art is unique and comical.
