Recommends it for: anyone interested in Canadian celebrations and customs
I truly enjoyed reading about the many different types of Canadian celebrations, and the suggestions for activities, crafts and the like are both ingenious and fun. This is definitely a book for older children, or for parents to share with their children, and more of a reference or information manual than a book to be read straight through. Unfortunately, due to the fact that this book was published in 1987, many of the addresses and contact numbers listed are likely woefully out-of-date (time ...more
