I'm not an accomplished knitter, but if I was, I'd totally make myself an Einstein and or an Audrey (or maybe an Abbie?). And some Beatles for Bill. Any knitters want to gift me? :) Such an awesome idea, and totally hilarious to flip through, knitter or not.
I can't wait to start working on some of these. They would make great homemade Christmas gifts!
I wish more of the clothes were, in fact, knitted as opposed to sewn - but the instructions are easy to follow and the patterns actually come out (not always a given for pattern books). I was also able to kind of fudge a half-scale version of the Marilyn Monroe doll that turned out quite well.
Holy moly! You can knit your own Madonna, Elvis, or, my personal favorite, Gandhi.
