Solid advice but tackles too many issues generally rather than give more detailed advice on specific issues.
On my particular problem the book is unclear:

My son is a picky eater and the advice is to acknowledge the pickiness without making an issue out of it (i.e no forcing or cajoling/bribing or discussion) as "children this age are usually not interested in change or in trying out new foods". wasn't what I was expecting. I don't agree with a lot of his points, I found myself being irritated when he talked about breastfeeding and starting solids before a baby can even sit up on their own.

Shelves: read-in-2007
If you have read one of his books you have pretty much read them all. A few good points in the book but not worth buying. I am glad I checked mine out from the library.
