My book review is on Warriors Power Of Three The Sight. First of I really enjoyed the book. I thought it was totally awesome. But I think the type of people that would like this book --most-- are people who like adventure, cats, and clues leading to big mysteries. But if you do not like adventure and mystery, I still think you will like this book.
This book is about three cats who go on three wondrous adventures as apprentices. Two warriors and a blind medicine cat who are to be considered as t...more
The King of the Groovy (I'm SO groovalicious~)
The Sight centers around Hollykit, Lionkit and Jaykit, three of the newest additions to Thunderclan, offspring of Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw (and Firestar himself). Once out of the nursery they busily set off to accomplish personal goals, but being young cats they still have a lot to reconsider, decide and discover. Being under Firestar's legendary image doesn't help the kittens and they soon find that with expectations comes pressure, criticism and self doubt, especially for one kitten who'...more

This book is baced off a new generation. It is the kits of Brambelclaw and Squirlflight. The grandchildren of the clan leader Firestar. Jaykit, Lionkit and Hollykit all want to become warriors at first. Cats always treat Jaypaw like a kit even when he becomes a aprintice. This is because he is blind and other cas say he will never become a true warrior. Hollypaw decides that she wants to become a medicen cat apprintice though. She finds out that she is no good at that though. She is encredably...more

I started reading the series Warriors five years ago, however I didn’t understand the plot completely, and I promised myself that I will reread it in a couple of years. I started reading the books again a month ago, and was caught in the plot immediately. As I finished devouring Sunset, the previous book, I checked out The Sight, which was next in line. This book is about a couple of young warrior apprentices: Lionpaw, Hollypaw, and Jaypaw (they are cats), who are addressees of a very important...more

This is Jess' review of a book that she had just finished.

Hi, this is Jess. I'm 10 years old now. So i tend to read more harder books like these ones. This is the series i'm OFFICIALLY addicted to now. I like the story, it has a lot of mysteries, adventures, and action! Now, let's get started with the review!: "There will be three, kin of your kin, who hold the power of the stars in their paws." This is the mysterious prophecy shown to Firestar, Leader of Thunderclan. So, this book is about 3 ca...more

The book titled The Sight by Erin Hunter was published in 2007. It has 363 pages and is written for young adult readers. This book is a continuation of the best selling Warriors series. This book follows the story of kittens that grow up in the ThunderClan. It tells about how the kitten’s names change according to what they accomplish. After they are apprentices and learn how to fight, hunt and defend their territory they get warrior names. This book tells the story of three kittens from the ti...more

I really enjoyed the introduction of "the next generation" of cats in this 1st book of the Power of Three, or PO3, as my friend, Micheline, refers to this third series. I am very glad that the main characters from the 2nd series are still central at the start of this ... and am also glad to see some of our old friends from the original series still central to ThunderClan. In this book, we are introduced to the three kits of Squirrelpaw and Brambleclaw who have a strong bond between them and a wa...more

I know I'm not the best a writing reviews. I write them a bit like a blurb, I don't want to give to much away but I want to encourage people to read it. My previous reviews on Warrior books have been pretty similar - I love them all, what more can I say. I would definitely recommend them. In this new arc of Warriors we travel yet again to a new generation of cats - The children of Squirellflight and Bramble claw. This is a very good book with an exciting plot. The three main character's Hollypaw...more

Looks like it's gonna be a good series! It's main characters are a new set of clan kits, Jaykit, Hollykit, and Lionkit. Each has their own very distinct personality. In fact, their personalities have been much more creative and specific than the cats in the previous series. They have more realistic flaws and traits than the earlier cats (no offense meant; just saying: Brambleclaw, Squirrelflight, Stormfur, etc didn't have many serious flaws). Jaykit is a serious grump, touchy and oversensitive a...more

This is the first book in the Warriors: Power of Three series. It appears to be the third of many series about wild cats. With more than 300 pages, this is a great book for older children to start expanding their reading comprehension abilities and challenging themselves with longer books.

I love books that get our girls excited to read and the Warriors did that for our youngest. She is in love with these stories! I like to read whatever they are reading, so we can chat about the stories and dis...more

In the beginning, it was really hard to get into this book. I remember just looking at the book and not wanting to read it because it was just so hard to get into. But after I got past the first couple chapters the story started to finally get good. After that, I couldn't put it down! The ending had be reading until almost 1:30 in the morning and it really kept my attention.
Jaypaw was the only character that really bugged me in this book, though. He just seemed like a little brat throughout, alm...more

The first book of the Power of Three (third series) starts off with three kits do the ThunderClan, Jaykit, Hollykit, and Lionkit, grandchildren of the legendary Firestar. Many cats think they were troublesome kits. They always do the wrong thing and make the wrong decisions. The three kits became apprentices and learned the ways of the warrior code (rules). In the course of many adventures, they finally discovered their true destiny. But dark secrets haunt them, and a mysterious prophecy tells t...more

The sight was one of the better Warrior books I've read because it has a ton more action than the first books and there's a cat that can trespass on other cats dreams. The overall story:

Three kits become apprentices in this book, and you follow them through boring kithood as they yearn to become apprentices. But when a terrible accident happens during a little friendly Clan rivalry, one of them may lose their dream of becoming a Warrior. Meanwhile the clans have been in their new territory for a...more

The clan cats have done very well in their new forest home on the banks of the lake for several “moons” (months) and they are growing strong and healthy with new kits. The time has come for the three main characters to become apprentices. Hollypaw, Jawpaw, and Lionpaw come from a strong legacy: children of Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw, two of the noblest ThunderClan warriors, and grandchildren of the great leader Firestar and the horrifying leader Tigerstar. All three young cats possess unusu...more

I really liked this book. It's a great continuation of Erin Hunter's first two series. Although it's for kids about fifth or sixth grade, I think anyone would like it. WARNING: It does have talking animals, because it is a FANTASY book.

OK, I have been a HUGE Warriors fan ever since I read the first book. I have been OBSESSED with them, all through the 2nd series. But this series was a disappointment. She's coming out with them so fast. I wait for them to turn to soft cover or come out in the library, but then she's coming out with mangas and so many books... anyway, I was hugely disappointed with this series. The cats get so mad and are so negative! Warriors was my favorite series for a long time, but dropped from #2 (next to...more

Such a great book! Jaypaw ended up to be one of my favorite characters. So was Hollypaw and Lionpaw. Lionpaw and Jaypaw are so brave. At the end, Jaypaw was considered a hero. Hollypaw is such a great fighter. She really knows her battle skills. Heatherpaw is such a good sport. She had to practice her battle skills with Hollypaw. Even though Hollypaw won, Heatherpaw complimented her. I think that Lionpaw has a little crush on Heatherpaw. He was jealous when she talked about Jaypaw, not him and he...more

I liked the book Warriors: The sight. As the three kits, ( Jaykit, Hollykit, and Lionkit) become apprentices, they start to realize
that they knew from the start what their destiny was and who's destiny it was to be their medicine cat.Jaykit is blind and he thinks he's no good at all. Hollykit is determined to become a medicine cat, but finds it boring. Lionkit wants more than ever to become a warrior. As they get their apprentice names:Jaypaw, Lionpaw, and Hollypaw, a new prophesy unfolds:The...more

love these books - so interesting and entertaining

like the lives of the cats set apart according to their own understanding of things - their intelligence, conversations....almost like a bunch of people except more interesting. The survival of the clan and the way of life is the important thing - and of course, change is hard. It's harder for some than others.
In this book, Firestar receives a prophecy from an old cat about kin of his kin having the future in their paws. Squirrelflight has had a...more

this is the first book in the new profisy series. Years after the second series there are three kits. These kits are the grandchildren of Firestar. They have special abilities that they must now use. A new jorney begins with these children leading it.

This series often reminds me of native americans. It would seem that they both would have the same beleifs. they both hunt and live the same. I beleive that Erin hunter had this in mind. I emediatly noticed that.

I think I enjoyed this book It had al...more

I have to be honest, when my son chose this series for car nightly reading, I was not excited. There seemed to be a lot of background that the reader needed to have even before cracking it open. But after several chapters that fell away and I became invested in the characters. The language is challenging enough for a 3rd grader, and the story is interesting enough that I wanted to continue on and find out what would become of Thunder Clan. There is some repetitive things that started to get on m...more
