But I think the type of people that would like this book --most-- are people who like adventure, cats, and clues leading to big mysteries. I started reading the series Warriors five years ago, however I didn’t understand the plot completely, and I promised myself that I will reread it in a couple of years. Hi, this is Jess. I'm 10 years old now. So i tend to read more harder books like these ones. This is the series i'm OFFICIALLY addicted to now. I like the story, it has a lot of mysteries, adventures, and action! Now, let's get started with the review!: "There will be three, kin of your kin, who hold the power of the stars in their paws." This is the mysterious prophecy shown to Firestar, Leader of Thunderclan. So, this book is about 3 cats who are destined to have mysterious and special powers. They just left the kit (Kitten) nursery and they are now starting off their training as Apprentices. Hollypaw, (When they become apprentices, the clan starts calling them with a 'paw' at the back of their names.) Has taken on a different route. Instead of training as a normal apprentice, she decides to be a Medicine Cat (Doctor cat :D) apprentice. While her brothers take on the normal apprentice training. However, one of her brothers are blind, so he thinks the clan treats him more poorly than his siblings. This cat is called Jaypaw. He has the most amazing ability of all. He can see into other cats' dreams, and sometimes, he can read the feelings of other cats. (AKA, Mind reading :P). But, since he is blind, he cannot keep up with the other apprentices, because his lack of sight. BUT, his hearing and smelling skills make up for it. So, Starclan (The group of deceased warriors watching over them.) has set out a new path for him. He must become a medicine cat, since he also can detect wounds very clearly from at least a meter away, and he is very familiar with healing herbs like Horsetail, Coltsfoot, and catmint. So he tells Firestar, (His Grandpa,) if he can become a medicine cat apprentice, since Hollypaw has resigned. So from now on, he is Leafpool's (Current Medicine cat) reliable, but stubborn apprentice. And so, that's about all the interesting things that happens in this AWESOME book.

This book is a continuation of the best selling Warriors series. This book follows the story of kittens that grow up in the ThunderClan. It tells about how the kitten’s names change according to what they accomplish. After they are apprentices and learn how to fight, hunt and defend their territory they get warrior names. This book tells the story of three kittens from the time that they are six moons old until they become apprentices.
The ThunderClan is known for their strength. They live by a lake in a wooded area near some hills. The different cat clans are known by their strengths and where they live so the ThunderClan could not live anyplace else. They prefer rocky areas. The other clans live in areas that go with their skills.
The three main characters in this book are Jaypaw, Hollypaw, and Lionpaw. They are siblings. Jaypaw is a blind cat. He was born blind so he uses his ability to smell and hear to do what he needs to do. Hollypaw at first wants to be a medicine cat but then she decides she wants to be a warrior. Lionpaw is a good hunter and a pretty good fighter. In the beginning they get tired of staying in camp all the time so they decide to try to chase the foxes out of their territory. But in the end the foxes start chasing them because they are too little to fight. The kittens get into trouble with the leader Firestar which means they could not become apprentices right away. The kittens then decide to behave and tell the grown-ups where they are all the time. When they show the grown-ups that they can behave they become apprentices. Jaypaw becomes a medicine cat apprentice. Hollypaw becomes a warrior apprentice, and Lionpaw becomes a warrior apprentice as well.
The thing that I liked best about this book was that there was always something new happening. Every time you think that the book is going to get boring, something exciting happens. I liked the character Jaypaw because he is a little ornery and grumpy. He does not like that the other cats seem to underestimate him because he is blind. On page 296 Jaypaw gets mad when Firestar does not listen to him. He says to himself, “What’s the point in warning them if they only ignore my advice?” At the end of the book on page 363 Jaypaw discovers that he has the ability to see other cat’s dreams. It leads into the next book when he says: “One day we will be so powerful that we shall command even StarClan.”
The theme of this book is story of the three main characters that are part of a prophecy that says they are going to be powerful. This book follows their story of how they work hard to get to where they are supposed to be. It talks about problems that come up that can be overcome if you work hard. That is a universal idea. You have to work hard to make your dreams come true.
I would recommend this book to Young Adults from sixth grade through middle school. I think that even though this book is about cats, they have personalities and ideas just like humans. Most other books talk about people and their challenges but this book talks about the same kind of problems from an animal’s point of view. They even use their own terms to describe the world around them.
I would give this book 5 stars.

I know I'm not the best a writing reviews. I write them a bit like a blurb, I don't want to give to much away but I want to encourage people to read it. My previous reviews on Warrior books have been pretty similar - I love them all, what more can I say. I would definitely recommend them. In the beginning, it was really hard to get into this book. I remember just looking at the book and not wanting to read it because it was just so hard to get into. But after I got past the first couple chapters the story started to finally get good. After that, I couldn't put it down! The ending had be reading until almost 1:30 in the morning and it really kept my attention.

Such a great book! Jaypaw ended up to be one of my favorite characters. So was Hollypaw and Lionpaw. Lionpaw and Jaypaw are so brave. At the end, Jaypaw was considered a hero. like the lives of the cats set apart according to their own understanding of things - their intelligence, conversations....almost like a bunch of people except more interesting. Тех котов, которых по идее я должна помнить по прежним циклам, я просто не узнаю, для меня они слились в одну котомассу. Главные герои перекидывают свое POV как мячик, очерчивая характеры и стремления. Все опять напрягаются вокруг мутного пророчества, сделанного Звездными предками, которые сами нифига не понимают в том, что лепечут. Я на протяжении всей книги ожидала, что эти трое котов при очередном попадании в беду начнут скандировать "Сила Трех нас спасет!" (благо название цикла звучит не иначе как "The Power of Three"), но нет.

А в конце ребята-котята решили устроить межклановое соревнование, дабы поднять дух измочаленных долгой зимой усатиков, и заодно укрепить дружественные связи (соревноваться, мол, всяко лучше, чем драться). Меня всегда радуют такие внезапности, которые придумываются за пять секунд, а потом прямо с коленки пускаются в печать на последние страницы. Огнезвезд, подавший эту идею, выглядит полным дебилом – у него война на носу, а он устраивает игрища.
В остальном – no surprises. Котиков ждут испытания, запретная любовь и все такое 8)(less)

this is the first book in the new profisy series. Years after the second series there are three kits. These kits are the grandchildren of Firestar. They have special abilities that they must now use. A new jorney begins with these children leading it.

This series often reminds me of native americans. It would seem that they both would have the same beleifs. they both hunt and live the same. I beleive that Erin hunter had this in mind. I emediatly noticed that.

I have to be honest, when my son chose this series for car nightly reading, I was not excited. There seemed to be a lot of background that the reader needed to have even before cracking it open. But after several chapters that fell away and I became invested in the characters.
