Ehh.. Freddy's sister is MEAN. It's difficult to read a book to your child when there's at least one character in it that is just MEAN and RUDE. I mean it's his SISTER! Be nice!

There is a bully in the book also, who actually comes around at the end...

I don't know...just didn't like the rudeness and teasing of the sister but the bully seemed forgivable enough. I mean come on sister, WHO CARES if your brother wears the same themed costumed every year-a shark. Quite frankly I thought that was AWES...more

We got this book on audio in a Wendy's Kids Meal. All 3 of my kids LOVE listening to it in the car. It's a cute story, and the guy who reads it does a great job!

THis is a very good humorous Halloween story. I gave it a 4 star because I don't think it is one of the best of those chapter books but an ok book.

A good message in this book. A good read, just like all of the Ready Freddy books.

Could have been better if I wrote it.

Listened to the audiobook. Was supposed to be listening with my son, but my son fell asleep on it. I was all into the story, though. Very cute!

Freddy is invited to a Halloween party, but he is afraid to go. Of course everything turns out all right in the end!

The story was the perfect level as a read-aloud for my five-year-old, although some of the pictures were too scary for that age, so I didn't show them to him.

Freddy loves sharks but is scared of everything so he decides to become his shark costume to get over his fear and solve a mystery. One of my birthday books! So cute!
