I couldn't decide if this was a book which reminded me of Gone With the Wind or not. One of the better historical romance books I have read. More of a dysfunctional marriage type of book, but has some steamy romance. I did like the character interaction, they very much liked to fight and then make up. The near ending was a bit to sappy for me but all in all I enjoyed it.

Even though the overall rating is less than stellar, this was the first romance book I ever read and I loved it! I have since been sucked into the wonderful world of historical romance and will never look back.
