The Kindle version of this has some formatting issues, like extra long tabs at the start of a paragraph, etc. Also, you don't know up front, but this is a volume of 3 unrelated short stories. 2 are obviously set in the future, and one is relatively timeless.

The action is nice, the plot lines relatively shallow, but then again, this is a short story...we don't expect deep character development in this format. So, I would say that this is well done, and would like to see something of a longer for
A small collection of short thriller/suspense stories. Good for a brief escape.

It is one of the first free books that i cracked right into as soon as i downloaded it with 3 short stories how can you go wrong The Kiribati Test the first short was a very cool idea I only wish it would of ventured on into a longer story. The Cuda was a great read about a very special car nad The Con Artist was a very good to.

So why not give it a try looking forward to reading his other books
I didn't realize until I was finishing the second story that this was a set of short stories. (oopsies)

There are 3 stories. The first is a corporate thriller. The second is a cross between King's Christine and Pet Semetary. The third is two con artists setting up a large grift.

They're interesting stories but they all end abruptly. I enjoyed them, I just didn't think they were complete.

Hmm. Well, I don't typically read short stories - so if I'm off-base, so be it. I found all three stories pretty flat. I didn't identify with any characters, the stories reminded me of bad "Outer Limits" episodes, and overall, well - I want to be fair - so I'll just end my opinion here.

I didn't know this was 3 short stories until I came to rate it on here. I got it on my Kindle and i was so confused reading it.. wondering why they abandoned characters and started on new ones. For this, Kindle fails.

It was weird though, yet somewhat enjoyable

Series of three short stories...not enough character development in any of the three. Just as I was getting into the story it was over. Only read it if you have nothing else to read is my recommendation!

This book was actually not a bad book. It wasn't what you were prepared for. It is actually mini stories that have nothing to do with one another..

I'm all for short stories... I just hate being able to guess the endings when I'm still at the start of the story :(

It was free on Amazon, so at least it didn't cost me money--just time.

the ending (or lack of it) earned this novella it's rating.
