That is IT. I'm done with Ziglar. I remember many years ago listening to recordings of his on topics of motivation or sales and enjoying them. For decades now, he's been incapable of anything but Christian Crazy Nutbar stuff. I've tried to pick out the stuff I like by age, description and reviews and always fail. I'm going to just admit that I'll never rediscover the Ziglar that meant something to me.

Zig Ziglar

str.

Well firstly let me say I love Zig Ziglar (RIP) and his work has had a massive positive impact on the way my mind works

This audio however seemed all over the place ( content WAS good) but nowhere his near nicely flowing recordings where he grips your attention in his unique teaching style

This covered all sorts of topics however jumping from one thing to the next with no real connective flow which can (in normal circumstances) let you listen to Zig for hours on end with sincere enjoyment ...

I must admit I was not very impressed by this book. I certainly had much higher hopes when I checked it out from the library. The stories and anecdotes he shares are mildly amusing at best but I wouldn't consider them very inspirational. He tries to link each story he shares to a verse in the Bible, but I found the scriptures he chose rarely fit well into the message. I must be honest I did not even make it to the end of the book. I will be looking elsewhere for a book to provide the motivation ...more

Good information for the most part. Peiced together, isn't really a flowing boook, it throws quotes, scriptures and alternative ways of being at you left and right. Like i said, good info, it's just you'll find the same stuff in Over the Top which is a much, much better book.

Christian propaganda mixed with Ziglar's unique and useful wisdom. Not a word on the perverseness that the blind faith he proposes as a way of everyday life entails

Not the usual genre I pick. Some stories were good and got me thinking. But overall to me it was boring

A unique way of changing one's perspective. Looking at frustrations and failures as stepping stones to success.

very motivational and positive. We tend to forget the basic points that go so far. I've always liked Zig Z. and glad I found this audiobook.
