At ten months Jax is not technically a toddler yet but he's definitely old enough to be interesting in books and loves being read to. We do family devotions every night and I thought the Adventure Bible for Toddlers would be a great book to spend some one on one time with Jax, more on his level.

This book is perfect for toddlers in so many ways. The physical design of the book definitely takes into consideration how rough little ones are on books! The soft cover with cornered edges even protects

Baby Girl's verdict? Meh. She will read it with me if I pick it out, but it is not a title she will bring to me on her own. The stories themselves are too short. The ages suggested for this title are 2-5 but I would change that to 1-2 year olds. They are basic and short with not a lot for a child to grow with. 'Adventure Bible' is still the only title I have for Baby Girl however, so it does help me make Bible reading an intentional time.

Overall, 'Adventure Bible' has a fun adventure theme that

This is the perfect Bible for your toddler. The cover lists from ages 4-8, but I think the illustrations are so beautifully done, that even a younger child would enjoy it.

There are ten stories from both the Old and New Testaments. This is a board-page type Bible that is compact, yet not too small even for the younger children. The pages are easy for little hands to turn and easy to wipe off, should those little hands leave some sticky grime.

This is a beautiful way to spend time sharing God’s wor

Catherine DeVries and Zonderkids have created the perfect toddler's bible, "Adventure Bible for Toddler's" with exciting illustrations by Jim Madsen. Geared towards ages 2-8, there are ten stories taken from the Old & New Testament's. I applaud the author's goal of reaching younger minds. It is imperative that children learn of their Heavenly Father. Ms. DeVries offers this wonderful opportunity by making the stories of the Bible come alive in terms that the little ones will understand. ...more

This is a colorful, fun little book. Just perfect for toddler hands and fingers with the thick board style pages. The pictures are great and the stories are even more wonderful. One thing I noticed is that this book is simple enough that early readers should be able to read it on their own. A beautiful book perfect for any toddler and young reader. Beautiful art work! 4 stars from this reviewer.
