This is the 16th novel I've read by Peggy Poe Stern and I have loved everyone of them! Peggy is a wonderful storyteller who draws you in like a friend sitting at the kitchen table sharing their life with you. Her books are set in the High Country area of the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina and capture both place and the mountain people wonderfully.

Another good one

Another good read by a great author. Not quite as captivating as some of her other works but still a good story.

Wonderful book

I could see the places and people due to the authors wonderful ability to tell yet another captivating story. Only wish there were a sequel to this and most of her other books.
