Dear Professor Hoyt,

I loved reading "Crow's Mind". This is vintage Hoyt at your best. Clever plots filled with intelligent side trips into ornithology, corvids, ornithopters, Portland strip clubs, and the list just goes on. You continues to be the man at the heart of these tales, aided by a Native American side kick, Bobby Humpstulips.

You sir, are a superb story teller. Hat tip to you for this first effort back in the world of the traditional novel.

I do have one suggestion. You need to develop
