I am terrible at reviews. But this book was really a great joy to read, even though it was quite short! The author describes her travels through Norway in the very early 1900's. Everything from the roads along the Fjords experienced on horseback or carriage, to steamboats within the Fjords themselves, the food, the sounds, and the people... Everything is described beautifully, and you can honestly feel yourself traveling alongside her. It's a very romantic view of Norway in this time, but at the ...more
