Apparently it doesn't count when you give something 5 stars from there. Oh, well. Honestly, I have a lot to say about Renea as a writer and the stories to date. I wonder if she's coming out with a novel-sized piece anytime soon? She's such an insightful young lady, and it appears in her stories.
This was an interesting glimpse into Christmases past in rural Georgia. It is interesting, and helps put into perspective, especially for children, our modern expectation for Christmas. The actual writing style leaves much to be desired, but the stories are worthwhile.

Renea is a true story teller. I was so lost in this story that when it ended I felt startled back to reality. I felt as though I was sitting in the room with Billy listening to stories rather than reading. Heartfelt and warm. I feel good when I read anything Renea has written.
