I am biased: I wrote the introduction to this book. But I wouldn't have written it had I not enjoyed the story.

Some excerpts from my introduction:

Mr Arthur Endswell is a a Victorian gentleman-turned-gravedigger caught between poverty and his lifestyle’s demands. Forced to supplement his meagre inheritance by stealing freshly-buried bodies for dissection, Arthur is a man of duplicitous nature, intensely aware of his precarious social standing and desperate to secure the affections of his beloved.
