Set in the 1880's, this love story tackled prejudices, rejection, and taking responsibilities for past mistakes. I liked the flow of the book and the scenes were well thought out in details. There were no excessive flowery descriptions and I felt there were no unnecessary waste of words. A nice book to read about strong proud characters that go for what they want in life.

Out of desperation Julie hires Lone Wolf a fierce bounty hunter but he accepts with a hidden agenda.

Julia Preston treated Vince Lone Wolf like a valued person & he was sure it was a mistake or stress or.... Until Vince accepts his fear of rejection the future could be nothing but bleak.

Lots of intrigue about the feud & who keeps fueling it.

I just finished reading this delightful, fast-paced Native American romance. Carol Finch does a marvelous job interweaving the plot to keep the reader's interested while also injecting humor and realistic/likeable characters. I'm now looking forward to reading other books by Carol!
