Joy
Handful of Flowers - Polly Chance is all grown up and following in Mama Lovejoy's footsteps as the town healer. What happens when the newly arrived Dr. Eric Walcott decides their ways are "misguided and even dangerous?" I liked Polly but Eric quite frequently got on my nerves. I was glad when he finally got straightened out.

Bridal Veil - Laurel Chance and family have traveled to visit Yosemite, the new national park. Gabriel Rutlidge forms a false impression of her when he first sees her, but a

I am biased towards Cathy Marie Hake's stories and honestly out of all of them this has to be the best. The Chance family holds a very dear spot in my heart and I have read this book over and over again. Ms. Hake holds your attention throughout the entire book and if you love romance stories that are clean you will adore this book!

Love this book! I would definitely suggest you read California Chances and Kentucky Chances first though. I read them in the complete opposite order as what they are meant to be, and it would have been nice to get to know the other characters before reading this...plus, you'll get to fall in love with the Chance men ;) haha

Four novellas, and each of them were well crafted and written and so much fun to read. I loved how the family traveled to Yellowstone as it was a newly made National Park. I loved each character and how they had their own personalities and concerns. Easy to read. Worth it.

The only thing I didn't like about these three stories was that there wasn't more to them. Amazing book.

As a child, Cathy Marie Hake had an imaginary playmate. Now "grown up," she indulges in a host of imaginary friends as she writes. She teasingly says she decided if those voices in her head were talking, she might as well write down what they said and make a living by doing it.
