Ann Wendell's book on the Ravenna neighborhood is a visual treat full of photos of the historic neighborhood in Seattle with short descriptions. It's really interesting to follow a neighborhood like this, through photos, from before 1900 to the present.

Ann Wendell is a Seattle native and was raised in the Ravenna neighborhood. Her father worked at Frederick & Nelson for over 35 years and she considered F&N her second home. She works providing informational research for businesses and individuals.
