Susanna Carr (Goodreads Author)
When it comes to deliciously wicked romance, Susanna Carr wrote the book. In How To Be A "Wicked" Woman and "Wicked" Women 101, she enchanted readers with her smart, sexy brand of temptation. Stephanie visited a small town called Mayfield to get her business partner to come back to LA. In doing so she falls for the Sheriff Jack and is stuck there while the place is almost flooded. Stephanie remembers about the camaraderie that comes with a small town so when she is able to go back to LA without Jack, she no longer loves LA. Cute book
What I liked about this book is how funny it is. Not hilarious funny but chuckle funny. I picked up this book cause I read one of those compilation of short stories from a handful of different authors and Carr was one of them and I enjoyed her short story. After this book and enjoying her sense of humor and writing style, I am looking into picking up the rest of her books.
This just didn't do it for me, it had some ok moments. I skimmed through most of the book just so I can get started on my next one. The best part of the book were the sex scene's. So for that it gets 2.5 stars;)
I think this is the first romance novel that I haven't been able to actually finish.
Terrible writing.

This book has a lot of potential to be good (with the funny sexy plot) but the writing ruined it. Ill definetly go with Jennifer Cruise if I ever want to read contemporary romance again.
And I dont know why my friend gave me this book as a birthday present. She definitely didnt know whats a YA romance book is.
