A short story that revisits Chris from Hold on Tight...

Christmas was coming, and so was Jamie's due date. The entire family was arriving, except for one key person. Her husband. Chris was away on a mission, and even though his brothers were also SEALs and probably knew where he was, they couldn't share that information. Instead, they teased, complained, and did everything

Jamie Michaels knows her baby will be coming soon, but she is determined to wait until her Navy SEAL husband Chris Waldron can be there. Her little baby though seems to be holding all the cards though and with Chris on an assignment that could delay him from getting there in time, time is running out.

A follow up story to the Hold On series. Very sweet story, I had not read any from this series but was curious enough that I will definitely be picking it up.
Holding On is a short story about a military man on deployment, Chris and his wife Jamie that is due to have their first child on Christmas Day and his struggle to get home in time for the birth. It presents the problem and then shows both sides from her waiting to his traveling home with the support of his military family. It is a great romance that shares the emotions of both the men that serve and their families.

Hold 3.5

Jamie Michaels is close to giving birth, but Chris is in Somalia on assignment. Even with his brothers surrounding her, she just wants her man home.

This is the first of this series that I’ve read, so perhaps that is why I didn’t have a big connection to any of the characters. I did like the idea of the male side of the family having psychic powers. 3 out of 5.

I wish I had more of a background on this book. IT was ok there was not a whole of plot to it the most interesting this happened when it was focused on Chris, not Jamie. I may have to go read the rest of the series.

The Hold series is one of my all time favorites by Stephanie. This little look at the lives of the brothers with their woman was wonderful.
