Two years earlier Cal's best friend had committed suicide after millions of dollars disappeared from the foundation's accounts. Right after the funeral Nick's wife Megan disappeared, and Cal has been looking for her ever since. He is certain that she knows what happened and that she has the money, and he is determined to hold her accountable. He doesn't expect to find her working as a volunteer nurse in the worst parts of Africa.

Megan isn't surprised when Cal finds her. She knows what he believe

The title, "A Sinful Seduction", doesn't do full justice to this very compelling contemporary romance from talented author Elizabeth Lane. Cal Jeffords is an imposing figure, both in business, and in his personal life. A self-made man who turned his troubled childhood around and worked his way into unimaginable wealth, he now uses his financial clout to benefit those less fortunate across the globe. Devastated by the suicide of his best friend and business partner, Nick Rafferty, and the unsolve ...more

A touching tale that will quickly captivate you! Actually rated 4.5! Taken from my review at

Shortly after the death, Nick’s wife, Megan, disappeared along with two million in foundation funds. Since then, Cal has been searching for her, certain when he finds her, he will find the money. When one of the many private detectives he hired comes to him with the news that a Megan

Author Elizabeth Lane takes her readers on an intriguing adventure to Africa with this heart-racing story of love, danger, and benevolence.

I was so impressed with the details that Lane includes in this romantic story - giving the tale the grit it needs to relay to the reader the primitiveness of the setting and the hard work that the main character Megan does as a volunteer nurse working in the Sudan region of Africa. Lane had definitely done her research on the culture and climate of the regi

It takes a lot for me to give a book 1 star, but I didn't like this one at all. I didn't buy into the romance of our main characters and the book was really too dark for me - especially given the heroine's issues (don't want to spoil it).

Perhaps if the book had focused more on the mystery, I would have liked it more, but in the end the mystery resolution was an afterthought. All of Megan's problems just magically went away apparently.

I prefer light, happy romances. I was surprised to find a book

"A Sinful Seduction is a touching tale set against the backdrop of Africa that will remind readers of not only its majestic beauty, but the saddening political dissonance there as well (RT Book Reviews)". 4 stars
