Christine, the sheriff and former FBI agent, + Wyatt, the ex-boyfriend and FBI agent = a good suspenseful romance.

Though at times, you think this story is predictable, a nice tidbit of information throws you off the trail...again. The characters are well developed and the conflict has just the right touch of tension needed.

Broken Trust makes for a good, cozy afternoon tea-time reading. An enjoyable book and one I would recommend to any romance reader.

Sheriff Christine Norris still remembers the last time she trusted Special Agent Wyatt Green. She doesn't want to get trapped in the same scene with her town. She's having a hard time believing that any of her friends and neighbors is part of a militia or would be involved in kidnapping an innocent boy. After a bomb, shots fired at her and a hostage situation involving her daughter, she is taking Agent Wyatt's warning more serious. But what will happen to the relationship between them. Can she b ...more

I almost rated this 2 stars, but the story is exciting. It is the editing, once again, that was off. A good editor would have caught the fact that both the eyes of the male protagonist and the eyes of cows in a corral were described as "onyx." Maybe so, but not a good comparison. A good editor would have caught that twice the woman's legs were as "noodles," and suggested a different simile for one or the other occurrence. A good editor would have seen that, if a road the hero's truck was on was ...more
Broken Trust by Sharon Dunn captivated my interest from the first page, actually from the first glance at the cover. I love the rugged mountains of the west and knowing this book was set in Montana stimulated my interest in reading Broken Trust before I ever received my copy.

It was the book's story, though, that kept my interest from beginning to end. The characters came to life on the pages and made me reluctant to put the book down. The struggles of Sheriff Christine Norris and Special Agent W
This is one of the best books in the Christian/Suspense genre ever. These two law enforcement agents look for a leader of an anti-government militia group.

This is my first time reading Sharon Dunn's work. It was good. Given the opportunity, I would read a story written by her again.

Broken Trust resonated with just the right about of romance and suspense to keep me wondering if the guy and the girl would make it out alive and be able to overcome the obstacles to their feelings, both external and internal.

Once broken, trust is hard to reestablish, but with God all things are possible. Can Christine and Wyatt trust Him long enough to believe in each

Broken Trust by Sharon Dunn is an action packed romantic suspense that drives the theme of trust not only in the plot but in the character's stories too. We see people who fight through situations we think might break anyone and yet the hero, Wyatt, does what has to be done in spite of his own pain and frustration. Christine teaches us that though she has really good reasons to hold grudges, with God's help she learns how to release them and learns to love again. Are there second chances? Sharon ...more
Great Love Inspired Suspense with lots of twists and turns that you were not expecting. I love that in a book and it keeps you reading!
A big job for a small town Sherrif. But does she know it is also dangerous? Its not until
an old flame asks her for her trust... she can't trust him with her heart, but can she trust
him to protect her? Is it move to even up the score? She feels she knows everyone in
her little town. How is it then, that she is being singled out, and creeped out, and by who?
This book will keep you on your toes. I gave it a 4 star.
Nice story about redeeming relationships tucked into an action packed agenda. At times it stretched credibility - but the characters are so engaging that I could overlook those. A female sheriff and a handsome Federal Agent reopen an old romance while working to uncover a subversive group tucked into the rugged wilds of Montana. Worth the read.
Great beginning, great middle, great ending, loads of action, great read!!
I enjoyed this book. Kept me guessing about the little pieces until the end.
