Read in April, 2008
I LOVED this book. I liked what I learned about Charles Atlas. I liked what I learned about the world during this time period, and most of all, we all REALLY liked the illustrations. I find that most children's book biographies have all the information I really want to know about any given person! Great book!

A good book about a very private fellow. I feel rather badly now that I never took the Charlie Atlas ads in my Archie comic books as more than a scam. I especially like how effectively McCarthy uses the "Author Note" section.
