This book provides a basic introduction to the festivals and holidays that people celebrate in France. Some are ones that people celebrate in other parts of the world (Easter, Christmas) with facts about how the French celebrate them with their own twist, while others are more unique to France (the French National Holiday). A great supplement to general elementary school-age books about France. It's short (32 pages) but I'd recommend it for roughly Gr. 3-5 readers, who are able to read ...more
