Ahh, this takes me back. I remember reading The Family Circus in the newspaper as a kid with my grandmother back in the 70's. They are just simple true-to-life family observations. Not especially laugh out loud funny, but very cute and sweet.

William Aloysius Keane, better known as Bil Keane, was an American cartoonist notable for his work on the long-running newspaper comic The Family Circus, which began its run in 1960 and continues in syndication.
