Delightful. I am falling in love with the Carolyn Rhodes mysteries. A small town with a high school football team, an approaching homecoming, and a radio that has been contracted to use the football field should be enough to bring on a headache, but there's more. Murder. The QB is a smug bully of a rich kid who likes picking on Carolyn's son. That blind mothers love of her son is endearing and irritating. In the small college town, its football season and the "golden" boy of the team is murdered. The prime suspect is Carolyn Rhodes' son and she's determined to see him cleared but he is not cooperating. As she enlists her friends to assist her, they discover there is more to learn about the people they thought they knew. An enjoyable "who done it".

Football, college politics and a women’s rodeo combine in this mystery. ER nurse Caroline gets caught in the middle when her football-playing son gets in a fistfight with his team mate and town badboy, who is later found dead. Caroline attempts to clear her son’s name, but he’s not cooperating.
This is another great new cozy series, featuring a multiple of murders during the Halloween season. Great drama and plenty of intrigue.
