This was a heartwarming story! After reading this book, it made me know just how blessed I was when I carried both of my kids to term.

Reba’s water broke when she was only 6 and a half months. She was taking by ambulance to a hospital that had a good Neonatal unit. After Maggie was born she had to stay in NICU for weeks. The first few weeks she was too small for Reba, or Lucas to hold. This was an emotional time for both parents. They both loved this tiny precious child so much. The long hours sp
I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I picked it up at random while enduring a long wait for an appointment. By the time I left, I was over halfway though the book and hooked. Lucky for me the secretary said I could take the book with me.

I love Reba's character! She shows amazing strength in this book. A hard worker, devoted friend and neighbor in her community. She has a short-lived affair with wealthy Lucas and ends up pregnant. Months later he is back in town and it just so happens tha
This should have been way more compelling, I can't even imagine parents in this situation. The anxiety wasn't as sharp as it should have been which is disappointing. Not bad but there are better easy, breezy reads.
WOW! Holy moly emotional!!!!
What an emotional journey!! Well written, well read - the story of Lucas, Reba and their premie daughter Maggie.
