Michelle knew all about Tyler Garrison; impossibly handsome and heir to a fortune, he ruthlessly traded in girlfriends as often as his cars. However, read full description

The backblurb is a LITTLE misleading.

H/H have been friends since college for 10 yrs. The heroine has been in love with someone else for the whole time and the hero has been waiting for his chance. I liked that the hero is a nice guy who has been sorta wearing his heart on his sleeve.

This is the first bk of the author's AUSTRALIAN PLAYBOYS trilogy and my favorite of the three.

The Playboy's Proposition was a good HP. It did have a pretty clueless heroine prone to judgments about the hero, but well the hero Tyler had managed to hide his feeling so well that Michelle couldn't know the truth. Michelle's boyfriend of ten years dumps her by sending a wedding invite, Tyler their rich friend from university consoles her and tells her home truths about him that she has always been blind to. They go the wedding together and start an affair. It was fairly evident to me througho More...

I love me some smitten hero. It's not usually something that's right in my alley, but I find this is sweet. Old college friends form a love triangle in which the odd one out finally gets to play the lead. The best thing about it is that all characters were really not so hateful at the end. Everyone wasn't really vindictive and jaded as you would think having money, drive and ambition as key but subtle element in the book. I'm glad I took a chance with this book.

An okay read. I really struggled with the heroine...There wasn't a whole lot to like about her. It is hard to imagine someone so successful in business could be so stupid in selecting mates. She seemed to be so committed to her all time loser boyfriend and failed to see the attraction of the hero for ten years.

A very quick and enjoyable read. The hero has been in love with the heroine for 10 years. I love a story where it is the hero who falls hard first.

I haven't liked many Miranda Lee stories, but this one was pretty good. Probably because the hero is so clearly head-over-heels, I loved that.

Un bon azur malgré une héroine qui a un peu trop acerbe parfois !

RATING: 4/B
GENRE/PUB DATE/# OF PGS: Romance, 2000, 187 pgs
COMMENTS: Michelle has gone w/ Kevin since college. They
have broken up from time to time but is always sure he
will come back...until she received an invitation to his
wedding. Another friend from college, Tyler, agrees to
take her to his wedding as his date so she will once & for
all be over him.
