I'm being generous with three stars, probably because I love the Old West and westerns, in general. I've read several other parts of the series but this segment is sorely in need of an editor. Too many punctuation and grammar errors were annoying and distracting.

The plot of this piece was too repetitive and over the top unrealistic. Drink, shoot some guys, ride out of town for a bad guy or two, repeat. Over and over. And, Mr. Thomas, please, please realize that champagne is what you drink, where

Great Western!

Once again Jess Williams has done it! You can depend on Jess to rid the West of evil. I really enjoyed another great saga showing Jess to be honorable in his eliminating the bad guys and a perfect gentleman with the ladies. Keep the Jess Williams stories coming. I look forward to reading more of Jess.

One of my favorites in this series.

Jess does his usual job of bounty hunting, but there is also a second plot which places Jess in a quick draw competition. Jess is making more friends, girlfriends, and he is developing a good sense of humor. This book was a lot more detailed than others in the series. Hence, 5*****

Back on Track

The Jess Williams books are such an easy read. Very enjoyable. Are they repetitive and predicable? Yes. Is that a bad thing? No. This book had a slower pace to it that actually fit very well. I look forward to reading book 9 and I highly red omen this series for a fun and easy read.

Well Jess Williams is again challenged by a New York club of gun competitors who will win a great deal of money to out gun Jess Williams. And it's gets better, he's involved in a range war, indirectly
And Jess is tired of these EASTERNERS challenges. Well, all you fans of Jess Williams Series..keep your powder dry and your coffee hot...and READ the next installment..ENJOY

Another fast paced Jess Williams Western by Mr.Thomas. Watch out though, there's another, long range Sharp's expert hunting Jess...
