Un’infanzia felice al sapore di caffelatte .

Francia degli anni cinquanta, tra boom economico e guerra d’Algeria. Ne Il Campo di nessuno tutto si svolge in una giornata, vissuta dal protagonista, il piccolo Daniel di dieci anni con la mania di collezioni particolari: parole complicate, elenchi, titoli strani dei giornali, etichette del camembert e soldatini Mokarex dei pacchetti di caffè.

Un libro con il sapore della nostalgia, ma nel senso buono del termine, in alcuni punti è pura poesia.
Peccato questo saltare da un argomento all'altro che non mi ha fatto apprezzare a pieno la lettura o forse ero io che avevo un'alta aspettativa. Cmq tre stelline e mezzo

L'ho letto tanti anni fa, eppure ho ancora un ottimo ricordo: il caffellatte aggiungendo solo il caffe' sufficiente per colorarlo come la pelle del piccolo Daniel, la voce narrante; i clafoutis di ciliege che la mamma bruciava sempre; le molteplici scoperte del padre di Daniel (incluso il metodo Ogino-Knaus). Un grande senso di nostalgia pervade il romanzo, accompagnandosi pero' anche ad altre note, come i riferimenti alla guerra in Algeria, alle classi sociali in Francia, e cosi' via. Molto pia ...more
