Perhaps its just me but I couldn't help but conclude this was more allegorical than based on actual experience leaving me a little skeptical of the whole under-pinning of the "lesson". Shelves: leadership
I took away a lot of useful information that I can apply to my career. I have seen organizations keep employees in the dark instead of being honest and the results are rumors, unhappy staff, and leadership getting a bad rep. Finally a book that explains how to work with people instead of an us against them attitude.

Very quick and easy to read. I like that the business management advice is low level and easy to relate to. I also appreciated the emotionally responsible approach to managing people. Highly recommended!
