This is an intriguing family drama where dark secrets are revealed and childhood illusions are shattered only to find a grown-up view of the people involved in formative events. It takes place in the world of baseball, but it's not about baseball. It's about someone's life's work and their legacy and someone else making a choice as to what hers will be.

It's not the sort of book I usually read. I'm not a contemporary fiction kind of girl, but I really enjoyed this book and the characters in it. T
This is about Casey who is the daughter of a well known baseball player Billy wells and this is pretty much what sums up her life. She idolized her father more than anything and once she found out the truth not only did it humanize her father but also her crush Ben.

I enjoyed this story and was consumed into her emotional turmoil on being an outsider because she couldn't live up to what she thought was her father expectations. We all experience that but I think she forgot that her empotions are

not a bad book. I did enjoy it. it was an easy read but lacked a little something to make it more.
