This is a book equivalent of a "chick" flick. I doubt that very many guys would enjoy this. Real mother comes back to haunt family of adoptive child. It doesn't help that the adopted daughter is a little, ungrateful, snot-nosed bitch. Belongs on Lifetime network.

Another buster I tried to read last night. I tend to like Patricia MacDonald's books, but many of the ones from the 1990's are not so good. Mother's Day was too slow for me, and just not interesting enough to press on.

Easy, quick read which I like to call "mind-candy." It had a lot of twists and turns and I must admit that I was surprised when I learned who the real killer was!!!

This book was fast-moving. The characters and relationships are compelling. The mystery keeps you guessing.

I'm not much of a mystery reader, but this was thoroughly entertaining.
