Fast-moving book. Britt's sister, Greta, is killed in a fire. They were estranged for years, ridiculously, so it's even more ridiculous that Britt moves in with Greta's husband and child and then begins thinking that the husband must hav done it and seeing herself as her niece's protector. Too quickly making him out to be evil and then too weirdly deciding that Greta's widow is the only man for her--albeit a year later.

Too pat of an ending, would've been better with a more suspenseful ending.
