It's the first book in a series of books called the Denicalis Dragon Chronicles, and was initially written for ages 8-15 (YA Fantasy) but I've heard is also enjoyable for readers of all ages. Not too bad of a book. You can definitely tell the author is new but overall the storyline was decent. It reminded me a lot of a campaign in Dungeons and Dragons with the cave they went through and the encounters, but that's probably just because I am an avid gamer. I am looking forward to reading the next one :)

As I began writing my first book, "Dragon's Blood", I had only a vague idea of where I was going with the story, and after a time I realized I had ventured from my intentional literary path of delving into a fantastical world of dragons instead into an ad...more
