Interesting story, although I thought the characters were a little one dimensional. The political themes were pretty transparent, and could have been a little more subtle, but it was still a good story, and the message seemed to be a criticism of political extremism and greed. Some liberal/progressive readers may still take offense, but it didn't bother me.
